About the artist…

Andy enjoyed working as a software developer from 1989 to 2009. In 2009 Andy considered the question of what he would choose to do if he had all the money he would ever want. The answer was simple, he wanted to paint and travel the country participating in art festivals.

Andy and Debie, his wife, considered whether they should take off and travel around the country selling art? They could easily continue to work in software and be able to put aside a nice amount of money over the next ten years. They considered the question of what they would most likely want to do with the money set aside during those ten years in ten year’s time. They arrived at the conclusion that there was a fairly high probability that in ten years they would happily spend the money saved to be able to go back ten years and instead decide to take off and travel the country participating in art festivals. And so that is exactly what they did. Andy and Debie spent 2009 through 2019 seeing the country from Key West to New York, Minnesota to Arizona and just about everywhere in between paying their way selling Andy’s art. They both agree that it was money very well spent.

Andy lives in San Marcos, Texas with his wife Debie and their labradoodle Lucy.
